“From an unranked, unrecruited high school quarterback to NCAA record breaker, Tyson Bagent has already been on quite the journey. His career at Shepherd has seen him post numbers you only find on computer games, and as such he’s created quite the buzz going into this draft process. Keen Senior Bowl viewers will have seen the promise; there’s no doubt Bagent can sling it. But there will be a steep learning curve ahead as he tries to unpick some poor fundamentals that have allowed him to thrive at the D2 level. The floor for this draft prospect is irrelevant - no NFL team is throwing serious draft capital at Tyson Bagent. But on the other hand, the ceiling is truly unknown. As a true passion project, taking a late-round flier on this kid and polishing him for the next few years is an ideal scenario for Bagent, who has the raw tools needed but simply needs to learn how best to use them.”
