- Inconsistent accuracy at all levels of the field. Some maddening misses on tape
- Doesn’t throw with anticipation. Sideline passes need to get there earlier
- Takes too many sacks for a guy who has the wheels to escape pressure
- Haphazard pocket movement – often forces him to throw off-platform
- Prone to bouts of random poor play mid-game

“Dorian Thompson-Robinson is one of the most seasoned QB’s in this class after starting for five years at UCLA. He brings an athletic profile that the NFL now covets, and can be devastating in the open field - but that doesn’t define his game. A real rhythm passer who likes to dink and dunk his offense down the field, ‘DTR’ is a confidence-quarterback who you wish trusted himself a little more. Accuracy issues routinely rear their ugly head on film, with simple screen passes sometimes missing the mark. Mistakes like that sometimes send him into a tailspin despite his experience. That being said, there aren’t many guys like him who can create something out of nothing, and if he finds a quick-strike offense that can make use of his legs, he has the chance to surprise a few people at the next level.”
