“Matt Corral turned all of that unquestioned talent into a highly polished product in 2021; he was much more careful with the football and understood when to take what was given, but also possessed that deadliness to strike downfield or make plays with his legs when the moment came. The marriage of Corral & Kiffin has worked wonders for the QB’s game, and he’s firmly put himself in the frame as a day one selection. Perhaps a higher ceiling than Kenny Pickett, Corral also has a lower floor, with some size concerns to boot. But as in years past, a team will fall in love with the x factor he has in his locker.”
