- Some feast or famine to him – despite stellar season, held to 60 yards or less three times

“Sometimes things just fall into place. After watching Oklahoma get pushed by Tulane in week 1 of the season, I was on the verge of going to bed before casually flicking over to the Northwestern-Michigan State game. Turns out I was going nowhere; in his Spartans debut, Kenneth Walker ripped off 264 yards at 11.5 clicks a carry and 4 touchdowns, setting a level of performance he would maintain throughout the entire season. The full package on the ground, Walker was dominant in a varied MSU run game that allowed him to showcase his patience, burst, physicality and agility. Outside of the lack of usage as a pass catcher there is little to fault about his game, and he heads to the NFL oven-ready as an early down, tone–setting ball carrier.”
