The Verdict:
“Justyn Ross is a physical, competitive pass catcher who will literally catch anything thrown within a mile of him. The measurables come close to elite for the NFL, with his frame and arm length desirable to work the outside as a possession receiver. Ross has had great success on late developing outside routes where he can build up speed and use his smooth route running to gradually open up space - but he also projects well as a ‘big slot’ receiver who can challenge the middle of the field vertically too. The question for the former Tiger will be whether or not the fall in yards and touchdowns as a senior was a result of underwhelming QB play, or limitations following a year off to repair a fused spine. There is a risk we have already seen the best version of Justyn Ross, but if he can get back to his 2018/19 levels a team is getting one hell of a steal on day three.”
