The Verdict:
“JoJo Domann is far from your conventional linebacker, but has a wide variety of traits that make him appealing in the modern day NFL. Quick as a cat both mentally and athletically, Domann dominates in pass coverage - unsurprising considering his background as a safety. He gets good depth to his zone and explodes to disrupt the catch point, and is a frustrating and feisty opponent to deal with when manning up against running backs and tight ends. Domann is far from a one-trick pony and brings his speed to run defense, where he shines firing into gaps and meeting the ball carrier. Not wanting for play strength, Domann is betrayed by his short arms that make him a victim against downblocks, making him more suitable as a hybrid LB/S at the next level. Plenty of teams would appreciate someone who has the skillset to thrive in such a role, and there’s whiff of sleeper to Domann if he falls to day three.”
