“As an FCS prospect, Dai’Jean Dixon will face scrutiny about his production against a lower standard of opposition. But productive he was, leaving Nicholls with 4,400 yards under his belt and setting multiple school records - including having a catch in fifty straight games. Some prospects don’t even play half that many games! Dixon’s size, length and demeanour jump off the tape and will appeal to NFL teams looking for a physical presence on the field. Whilst he looks like a perimeter possession receiver, his athletic limitations make him more of a candidate for a big slot role, with added value as a potential redzone target in the corners of the endzone. There’s plenty of evidence on his resume to suggest he can handle life in the NFL, and despite the expected steep learning curve has a skillset that could contribute early.”
