- Excellent pocket navigation, with all the subtle movements to extend the throwing window
- Not afraid to attack a defense, and there are plenty of throws into tight windows on his resume
- Competed admirably at the NFLPA Bowl alongside draft prospects from the FBS

- Not totally bereft of mobility, but size precludes him from threatening a defense with his legs
- Lower half mechanics need totally reworking, with poor footwork when delivering the ball
- Inconsistent accuracy, largely as a result of poor throwing stance
- Uncomfortable directing traffic and throwing on the move
- Needs to know when to throw it away rather than taking a shot under duress

“Aqeel Glass is a name that has been whispered as a potential draft prospect from the FCS ranks for the past two seasons. Ultimately deciding to return to Alabama A&M this past year, Glass undoubtedly improved his draft stock with improved accuracy and TWENTY more touchdowns than in 2020. Glass has enjoyed a good pre-draft process so far, showcasing the big arm and ability to learn a playbook quickly at the NFLPA Bowl, which hasn’t gone unnoticed. Glass doesn’t necessarily come to the NFL with limitations, but there are plenty of things that need cleaning up for him to make a roster at the next level, including footwork and throwing with more anticipation. But he’s a draftable QB with some upside to be a long-term backup in the league.”
