*Received from The Chargers as part of the trade for #3 (Tua Tagovailoa)
*Received from The Buccaneers as part of the trade for #8 (Tristan Wirfs)
*Received from The Broncos as part of the trade for #9 (Henry Ruggs)
As big as the Brady move was for the Buccaneers, Jason Licht and Bruce Arians will also have one eye on the future. Jake Fromm takes a tumble in the draft for one very obvious weakness – his arm strength. If he tries to put too much juice on his passes he loses his accuracy, which otherwise is excellent. He’s a fantastic leader who knows how to win and makes smart decisions with the football. Arians will be confident that he can put Fromm in a position to accentuate his strengths and disguise his limitations in the post-Brady era.
TRADE! The Dolphins send quarterback Josh Rosen to The Jaguars for #189
With Herbert the future and Ryan Fitzpatrick there to help guide him in, there’s no longer any room for Rosen who finds his third team in as many seasons in the league. Rumours about a lack of likeability in the former first round pick continue to swirl, and The Dolphins are happy to take a 6th for a guy they gave up a 2nd for this time last year. For The Jags it makes sense to bring in an alternative to Minshew, who still has to prove he is a starter in the NFL. Rosen has a cheap contract and plenty of experience if Jacksonville need it.
*Received from The Packers as part of the trade for #23 (Denzel Mims)
