Week 9 NFL Player Prop Bets

By Adam Martin

It’s crunch time in the NFL. We’re at the midpoint of the season, and the next few weeks will determine which teams are legitimate contenders, and which ones are making preparations for 2024.

Similarly, we see certain names across the league making statements – and with injuries ripping through rosters from coast to coast, it offers us some intriguing player prop markets to take advantage of.

As always, these prop bets are for entertainment only, and please gamble responsibly. All the odds below are from our friends at 888 Sport:

Seattle Seahawks @ Baltimore Ravens

Mark Andrews Anytime TD @ EVS

This may be a mistake but when you have a winning formula its tough to go away from it. So far, I have had Mark Andrews to score a TD anytime since writing this weekly article and so we go back for the third time.

Andrews has had a nice run over the last few weeks, and it was just a matter of time before the TD’s came as well. The Seahawks are one of the better defenses he will have faced but Andrews is the main part of this Ravens offense.

Even money is still a good price for Andrews given the amount of the ball he sees from Lamar Jackson. Andrews has had three touchdowns in the last two weeks, and he can bring home the profit once again.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Houston Texans

Cade Otton over 3.5 receptions @ 23/20

This is probably a game that you might not be that excited to watch unless you support one of the teams. However, there is a decent bet available that you should be looking at.

Cade Otton has been a reliable receiver for Baker Mayfield this season and this matchup isn’t a bad one for the tight end position. Otton has gone over the 3.5 line the last two weeks and another one looks on the cards here.

Otton isn’t one to score loads of touchdowns or get tons of yards, but he is always available for Baker to get the ball out quick.

Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles

CeeDee Lamb Anytime TD @ EVS

CeeDee Lamb has had a quietly good season this year and another quality performance is expected in this game. Lamb has had three touchdowns and over 600 yards putting him as the 10th best wide receiver this season so far.

Lamb had a huge game last week against the Rams picking up 158 yards and two touchdowns. There was a big increase in his targets, and he will be used a lot in this game by Dak Prescott again.

On top of that the Eagles are currently ranked 29th against the wide receiver and you saw what Sam Howell and his receivers did last week to the Eagles. At Evens he is a great price.

Indianapolis Colts @ Carolina Panthers

Michael Pittman Anytime TD @ 6/4

Michael Pittman has had a renaissance this year after a tough season last year. He has been targeted a lot by both Anthony Richardson and Gardner Minshew, but the touchdowns have started to come as well.

Over the last three weeks Pittman has been targeted 32 times and has scored a touchdown in the last two weeks. Also, the Colts have gone over on the total points in the game, six out of eight weeks.

With the Colts being such an attacking team and the Panthers having a poor defence, Pittman should have another good game. The Panthers are ranked tied 23rd when it comes to giving up passing touchdowns so 6/4 is a good price for Pittman.
