Week 12 NFL Player Prop Bets

By Adam Martin

Thanksgiving kicked of Week 12 in the NFL with a bang, before the league introduced it’s first ever Black Friday game. That leaves a few less games on the weekend schedule than usual, but if you’re considering having a flutter on the football we have still unearthed some tasty markets for you to consider.

As always, these prop bets are for entertainment only, and please gamble responsibly. All the odds below are from our friends at 888 Sport:

Carolina Panthers @ Tennessee Titans

Derrick Henry Anytime TD @ 4/5

This is not the most exciting of matchups but there is a nice bet that we can get on to start the day in a good way. Derrick Henry has not had the best of seasons, but this is a golden opportunity for him. Currently he has 663 yards and four touchdowns in the 10 games he has played.

He is going up against a Panthers side who are struggling at everything on the field. They currently are ranked 32nd when it comes to giving up rushing touchdowns. On average they are letting the opposition have 1.6 rushing touchdowns per game. Not only is that a great stat for Henry but they are worse when away from home, averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns to the opposition.

This is the type of situation that Henry normally excels in, and it would be surprising if he didn’t take full advantage. The price is short at 4/5 but one worth taking for what should be a slam dunk.

NEw England PAtriots @ New York Giants

Rhamondre Stevenson Over 57.5 Rushing Yards @ 5/6

Stevenson is another running back who has struggled this year but again has a great matchup. He has amassed 482 yards and three touchdowns which is poor considering everyone’s off-season expectations.

The line seems a little low considering what Stevenson has managed to do in the last two games. Two weeks ago, he rushed for 87 yards and then followed that up last week with 88 yards.

Obviously, a lot of this depends on the opponent but the Giants are worst against running backs than his previous opponents. They are currently ranked 31st when it comes to giving up touchdowns against running backs and they give up plenty of yards as well. At 5/6 this is another short price but given the matchup one that should come in.

Los Angeles Rams @ Arizona Cardinals

Tutu Atwell over 2.5 Receptions @ 6/5

Tutu has been quiet over the last few weeks, but things should change in this game. Last week we saw Cooper Kupp leave the game early on with an ankle injury. It looks like he is going to be missing this game and that is a huge positive for Atwell.

Cooper Kupp missed the first four games of the season with injury and Atwell showed what he can truly do. In those first four weeks he had six, seven, four and five receptions. Not only that but when Kupp got injured last week, Atwell got four more receptions.

Not only is the history of this season on his side but also, he has a favourable matchup against the Cardinals. They are ranked 29th when it comes to opponent competition percentage and so 6/5 looks a nice price.

Cleveland Browns @ Denver Broncos

Jerome Ford Anytime TD @ 5/4

Jerome Ford has had an unexpected season after star running back Nick Chubb got injured early in the year. He has managed to get 563 yards and three rushing touchdowns along with another 149 yards and two receiving touchdowns. One of them came last week in a tough matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers’ but now he has an easier one.

A big reason that Ford is a good selection is that with QB Deshaun Watson out injured they must lean on the run game. Ford is seeing most of the reps over fellow running back Kareem Hunt and so will have plenty of opportunities.

Also, he is going up against a Broncos defense that are ranked tied 24th when it comes to giving up rushing touchdowns. They are losing 1.1 touchdowns a game over the season so the guy with the most reps for the Browns at running back makes sense at a good price.
