For the last time this year... LOndon's CAlling!

By Martin Richardson

Well, here we are, the final London game of the 2026 calendar. And this one is a special one. Why? The reason is simple:

The Touchdown are sending me to cover the game on Sunday for you all, and I am so excited, grateful and humbled to be doing this. What started as a hobby and nerdy number crunching hobby has led to this moment and I cannot wait. Please do check out The Touchdown X feed throughout the day to follow along and see what happens at Wembley!

Hopefully there will be some last second drama like there was last week when Cam Little piped it from 50 plus yards to win the game.

So, it makes total sense for me to focus on the two teams with differing 2026 seasons and how their players can influence your fantasy match up.

ONES TO WATCH: THE GOOD

We all know the Keegan-Michael Key meme: ‘oh I’ve waiting for this, oh boy I’ve been waiting for this.’

And I have. I really have.

I’m not a Jags fan, but I am big fan of Bhayshul Tuten. I have been since the Jags drafted him last season. Now, in 2026, he has been exactly what fantasy players want in an RB2. He is pretty much the bell-cow for the Jags now after much talk about his Chris Rodriguez would be used in the offense. That has been quickly quashed and Tuten has made it clear that he will be the main man for the Jags offense and rightly so. This is certainly further evidenced when you look at the fact he has already rushed for more yardage this season (349) compared to all of last season (304). Now he did get seven total touchdowns last season, and his two touchdowns so far in 2026 show there is still room to improve, but one thing is clear, he is on an upward trend for chances to get to the endzone.

One other key part of Tuten’s early 2026 success is that he has so many missed tackles, with only Jahmyr Gibbs, Kenneth Walker and Bijan Robinson having more. That is elite company for the second year back. This is in part due to the fact that he is rapid, with an average speed of 13.7mph which makes a massive difference when he gets motoring and gets through the gaps in the offensive line. Heading into the final game in London, Tuten comes up against a tough Texans defense that is looking to get back on track, and with the like of Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter coming off the edge, Tuten will be looking to avoid those two at all costs.

Adding to his elite company, and making the point for continued fantasy relevance, Tuten also has 65+ yards in all five games this season, along with Bijan Robinson and Derrick Henry. For fantasy players, Tuten is locked in for points on the board, what you have to hope now against that Texans defense that Tuten and the rest of the offense get chance to punch it into the end zone.

I tell you what, after looking at that, I am very happy to have Bijan AND Tuten in fantasy team!

Casting your mind back to your 2025 fantasy season, the chances were that Parker Washington was a waiver wire pick up that paid off big time. With nearly 900 yards and five touchdowns, Washington finished as the team’s top receiver, even after drafting Travis Hunter and trading for Jakobi Meyers.

Already in 2026, he is once again leading the team with some top performances, currently sitting on just over 350 yards and four touchdowns, meaning that a mid-round fantasy pick up for Washington likely has you reaping some rewards. The fantasy relevance for someone like Washington cannot be understated, as he has 100+ yards in four of his last nine games, which is money for a pick like Washington.

Heading into Wembley, Washington comes up a secondary that would rightly concern many, but with someone like QB Trevor Lawrence at the helm of this impressive Jags offense, maybe Washington can make it five games of over 100 yards.

This isn’t a Jags love in, honest. I think that it’s time to look at the Texans QB, CJ Stroud. With 7 touchdowns and only 2 fumbles, Stroud is playing some clean football. And with over 1400 yards, he sits in the top 5 of passing yards for QBs in 2026, which is massive when it comes to points for fantasy players. This is no doubt in part due to the fact that he leads the league for most completed passes of over 20+ yards (I wonder if a fit and healthy Nico Collins has anything to do with that?).

With two of his best games against Dallas and Tennessee, the confidence is flowing through Stroud as he heads to England. The real test of Stroud and the offense this week will be if they can go toe to toe with a mean Jags defense who have settled nicely into life in England.

The Ones to Watch: The Bad

With a groin injury to David Montgomery, you’d like to think that Woody Marks could step up and take on the load. However, the Texans run game this season has been poor.

Montgomery prior to the injury was poor after two touchdowns in week one. Since then, he didn’t reach over 35 yards, even when in weeks 3 and 4 he had over 10 attempts. This doesn’t sit right with an effective run game and how to effectively add to an offense that needs some options to try and push for the playoffs after a poor start.

Now you could argue that Marks has been somewhat better, but he is relying on the fact that he needs touchdowns to even be fantasy relevant, which Monty didn’t have even before the injury.

They have both been similarly average this season and looking at the numbers, there is little between them. Monty has 138 rushing yards to Marks’ 149, and neither have a great run average, with Marks leading the way with 3.5 yards per carry and longest run of 12 yards, not exactly ideal when moving the chains. Its says a lot that CJ Stroud has more average yards (4.7) and a longer run of 15 yards when looking at the run game. That could an interesting one to watch on Sunday.

All of this makes it interesting to see how Marks and Stroud cope with a Jags defense that has been solid all season. How Stroud utilises the run game to vary up the offense could be interesting to see.

Ones to Watch: The Wildcards

As we approach bye weeks and needs for streamers, there is no one better than Brenton Strange. I’m a big fan of Strange and thought he’d have a breakout year, but with many mouths to feed his role is very much moving the chains for the like of Washington and Tuten to punch it into the end zone.

But in that role comes points. With 8 targets in both of his last two games, totalling over 150 yards, Strange is getting the points to be a great streamer. Since week 12 of last season, Strange leads the NFL in yardage with 571 and has ten receptions of 20+ yards, which is vital for fantasy relevance and so important when looking for a TE streamer during the bye weeks.

I still believe he has a breakout game in him somewhere, it will be interesting to see if he can muster it against an improving Texans defense. However, his consistency across these games is what intrigued me and makes me think he will be a wildcard difference maker over the next few weeks.

This may well be the last week we can talk about Jaylin Noel having a big impact on fantasy matchups now that the Texans have traded for Marvin Harrison Jr in a splash move to get their season back on track.
So, let’s make the most of it.

Texans QB CJ Stroud has looked to Noel 10 times in 3 games, with no drops in that time. He’s also gone for nearly 140 yards and a touchdown as well so he has the trust of Stroud going into the game at Wembley. Now will that continue with a returning to full fitness Nico Collins, that’s what makes Noel a bit of a wildcard.

Whilst I think it’s too early for Harrison to make a big impact, even if he has that relationship with Stroud, Noel is the play at WR2 for this week’s matchup up as the trade for Kayshon Boutte hasn’t worked out. But I tell you what, if ever there was game to make a mark on your new team, this is one. I wonder what the odds are for a Harrison touchdown in this game? Oooo that’s one to look at, and just like Jaylin Noel , Harrison this week, on a new team, in a different country, but with the backing of his college QB CJ Stroud, I wonder if it’s written in the stars….
