- Can get knocked out of rhythm, and struggles to get back into the flow
- Internal clock needs new batteries – takes unnecessary hits in the pocket

The Verdict:
“Clayton Tune has been a productive, loyal servant to Houston football for the past five years, and leaves with almost 12,000 passing yards under his belt. His leadership qualities jump off the tape, as does his dedication to his craft - every year as a Cougar he improved, and in 2022 he threw a TD:INT ratio of 40:10 and almost doubled his career rushing yards. Tune has done a good job maximising his game with the skillset he’s been blessed, but it still falls a touch short when it comes to NFL standards. The lack of deep ball is the biggest knock, as well as going through real low moments in games that he struggles to get back on top of. Another backup QB in this class that has the intangibles teams want but not quite the ceiling to match, Tune will head into an NFL training camp with plenty to prove.”
