- Ultra physical upon contact, taking tacklers for a walk
- Shows a level of patience in the backfield, allowing blocks to develop. Trusts his o-line
- Demonstrated proficiency both in power run and outside/inside zone schemes at Georgia

- Significant injury history, including and ACL tear to each knee early in his Georgia career
- Never had more than 160 carries in a season. Can he be a bellcow running back?
- Quick in short areas, but lacks true top speed to run away from tackles
- Lack of open field vision gives defenders the opportunity to close him down
- Slow to get feet set and arms ready in pass protection
- Modest production as a receiver in college
The Verdict:
“Not many running backs displayed the consistency over the first five yards as Zamir White did throughout his career as a Bulldog. His patience and timing whilst coming through the chaos was seen time and again, as he relied on the twitch and power in his lower half to steadily rack up the yardage. Despite his solid base and dedication to his physique White has had torrid luck on the injury front, and that will significantly limit his draft stock. Not particularly known as a big play threat before the two ACL’s, teams will wonder if he has sufficient juice at the next level. Likely paired with a more dynamic back, White’s role at the next level will likely be an early-down tone setter as part of a backfield committee.”
