2022 NFL DRAFT PROSPECT REPORT

Travis Jones

Pro's:

  • Great frame – 34”+ arms
  • Super powerful – Just throws OL around like they’re small children
  • When his pad level is down, double teams cannot move this guy off his spot
  • Put multiple pass rush moves on display – Bull, stick and rip, swim, chuck – wins with them all
  • Very accurate and powerful hands

Con's:

  • No reason to attempt to use him on stunts
  • Not very good lateral movement
  • Not overly explosive off the snap

The Verdict:

“Travis Jones was an elite IDL stuck on a very bad football team, so he didn’t get much buzz throughout the season. However, his tape speaks for itself, this man is very good. His length added to his power makes him almost impossible to block with one person. He constantly throws around OL, including all the Clemson OL, like they’re children. Jones wins mostly with power, but he has some finesse to his game as well. He managed to win rushes with swim moves a lot. Whoever drafts Travis Jones is getting a day 1 rotational piece added, with potential to be a one man wrecking crew in the future.”
