- Body beautiful but play strength is a little disappointing
- More instinctive coming downhill then he is in pass coverage – a little awkward in space
- Sometimes a little too keen to imagined destinations, and his aggression can be used against him
- Lack of game-changing plays. Just five sacks in 37 games, with zero turnovers forced

“Quay Walker may have gotten a little lost in a draft that is absolutely teeming with Georgia defensive prospects. But where his teammates may bring the explosion, Walker brings consistency; a reliable linebacker who rarely misjudged his responsibilities or missed a tackle, Walker was so well thought of by the Bulldogs coaching staff that he was moved around the defense during his four years at Athens. Those natural instincts are clear on tape; Walker is often moving before the ball is snapped, and he’s usually the ones relaying what he sees to the rest of the unit. He could stand to get a little more powerful at the point of attack, but all the other measurables and athletic prowess is there to be a future starting middle linebacker in the NFL. Any team targeting Walker will have to part with a day two pick to land him.”
