2022 NFL DRAFT PROSPECT REPORT

Film Watched: Georgia 2021, Texas A&M 2021, Tennessee 2020

Pro's:

  • Aggressive edge rusher that wears down pass protection with physicality on every snap
  • Snarler on the line of scrimmage and shows good burst from both a two and three point stance
  • Rips into contact with impressive upper body strength, rocking blockers with first contact
  • Makes the most of his good length to get hands on pads first and control the contact
  • Effective bull rusher with good leg drive to convert power through his frame
  • Blockers find it difficult to displace him once he has them controlled
  • Impressed with his ability to set the edge, stack the tackle and shed to the football
  • More effective as games go on, his effort levels sustaining for sixty minutes

Con's:

  • Has burst & linear speed, but disappointing agility. Stiff hipped when changing direction
  • Doesn’t have the bend or dip to beat tackles round the corner – power rusher, not speed rusher
  • Moments of dubious mental processing, particularly versus the run. Loses the play, plays the wrong assignment
  • Fierce tackler but arms don’t hold strength to bring down ball carriers at full extension
  • Pass rush moves and combos still developing – bullrush very much his go to move

The Verdict:

“Sometimes you find yourself watching Kingsley Enagbare’s tape and wondering when something is going to happen; There are spates in contests where he seems almost lost despite the ferocity and urgency he plays with to be a factor on each play. But turn on the Tennessee tape and you’ll get a feel for what the ceiling of Enagbere is as a prospect; a wrecking ball with pocket disrupting capability that is still a little rough around the edges but has the capacity to be much more. Enagbare will get scout’s attention because he has the play power to be a factor against the run as much as he does the pass, which not all prospects can say as a borderline day two/three pick. You can see the development through his four years in Columbia, and there is some upside to get excited about here.”
