- Unnatural in zone coverage; lack of confidence keying threats and responsibilities
- Locating the football – particularly when coming over his shoulder – needs work

The Verdict:
“An unfinished product, Jalyn Armour-Davis is one of those rare Alabama prospects that leaves Tuscaloosa unpolished. Unable to rise to the top of the depth chart until his final season, JAD arrives to the NFL rather green, and it’s likely his inexperience shows up more outside of the elite Alabama supporting cast he’s used to. JAD does possess the measurables to catch the attention of scouts, and whilst he’s a little sluggish laterally he possesses more than enough speed to line up in press on the outside, where his size will also aid his cause. The ceiling of Armour-Davis is something of an unknown, but the things you can’t teach are all in his locker. A prospect that will have wild variations from draft board to draft board, Armour-Davis has a little too much boom or bust about him for me to go any earlier than day three.”
