- Careless maintaining his line when ball doesn’t come to him quick
- Undisciplined on deep routes and loses track of the ball occasionally
- Fairly lean with a skinny top half that will be challenged in close quarters and on contested catches
- Can get squeezed out on the sidelines by cornerbacks that are able to keep up with him

“Garrett Wilson’s draft stock soared after a final season in Columbus that saw him rack up 1,134 yards and 13 TD’s from the line of scrimmage. As part of a trio of receivers on this Buckeyes offense, Wilson may have elevated himself as the leader of the group with a dominant end to the season. A blur of speed and chaos, Wilson relies on his athleticism to get open, and whilst his game can most definitely be refined that makes you think he’s not even reached his peak yet rather than leave you with any concerns. Despite a lack of desired mass his best home at the next level may be in the slot where he can stretch the seam, and he’ll more than provide value for a first round selection if a creative playcaller finds ways to get the ball in this the hands of this true playmaker.”
