“Brian Asamoah is an intriguing prospect. In a deep linebacker class that has all kinds of styles, Asamoah brings a little bit of everything to the table. His athletic profile jumps off the tape; Asamoah is yet to fully develop his instincts on the field, and doesn’t always make the right choices, but he’s so quick he’s able to get himself out of trouble. And when he gets it right? He’s alarmingly quick to the football and a real headache to contain for offenses. Asamoah has a frame that looks capable of adding a little more weight which will help him on inside duties, and with some more refinement I think he offers three-down value and consider him scheme versatile. Considering he also should make an impact on special teams whilst he finds his feet, there’s really not a lot to dislike.”
