WEEK 14 NFL REDZONE PICKS

Week 14 brings us a great slate of games that could well define the play-off picture in both conferences.

Seven games kick-off in the early Sunday slot and Steve Moore gives us his tipping angles for the early slate.

Flores Fire

The Steelers’ loss to Washington opened up the number one seed and the only bye to Andy Reid and the Chiefs, and lining up in the early game against the Dolphins gives them the chance to take control of that spot before the Steelers play on Sunday Night football.

Considering that they are favoured by a touchdown and change, they are hugely expected to. However, the Chiefs have won all their last four games by less than a score. Since destroying the Jets, they have lost the ability to blow teams out.

Allied to that, Brian Flores is exactly the coach to gameplan specifically to do some crazy things to at least slow down the Mahomes juggernaut. Neither would it be a major surprise to throw in a trick-play or two for what is a must win games for the Dolphins too.

While they might not be able to beat the Chiefs, it should be a game that goes down to the wire, so Dolphins +7.5 (20/23 with Betfair and PaddyPower) seems value.

Week 14 Redzone Picks

A Titanic Number Of Points

Tennessee gave up 41 points to the Browns last week and still almost pulled out a comeback after a horrendous start. That is married to the three times this season that the Titans have put up 40 points themselves. It’s safe to say that for the Titans to win, they need to get in a shootout and the Jaguars defense is perfect for that.

Meanwhile, it is fair to argue that whoever has played quarterback for the Jaguars has not been the problem for Jacksonville. They have posted 20 points or more in eight games, under all three starting quarterbacks.

As well as that, in the opening game between these two, they posted a combined 63 points, which is ten more than the over 52.5 points (10/11 with various) line that is on offer in this one.

Dalton's Revenge

With the Bengals losing Joe Burrow, they are just playing out the season. In fact, in some ways, this might be the battle to lose in order to get Penei Sewell. However, with the talent on the Cowboys roster, allied with the fact that they have the vastly superior talent and a vastly superior and more motivated quarterback, it is hard to look past Dallas in this one.

As well as this, the Cowboys are still actually in the play-off race. Expect the Cowboys to win by a huge amount more than the Cowboys -3.5 (21/20 with 888 & Unibet) line that’s available.

Texans Pile On The Misery

Chicago’s defeat to the Lions last week was the epitome of the Bears under Matt Nagy. While they were 5-6, a run of Lions, Texans, Vikings and Jaguars could have easily seen them at 9-6 going into Week 17 and potentially in the play-off hunt.

That loss has certainly killed any lingering hopes of post-season play. Meanwhile, since the end of Bill O’ Brien, DeShaun Watson has been playing at a frankly MVP level despite the lack of talent around him and the Texans (4/5 with Betfair) can pile on the misery this week.
