Hi, I’m Ashley Till, I’ve followed the NFL since 2010. I’m a writer and podcaster for First and Ten, covering their draft analysis and weekly in-season reviews. I worked with the Touchdowns’ very own Lee Wakefield on the Powder Blue Report in 2022, bringing all the news and takes on the Los Angeles Chargers. I also do content in the fantasy football space and specialise in salary cap dynasty leagues. Every year, I produce a top 50 mock, incorporating what I think could happen alongside the majority of my top 50 prospects. Hope you enjoy it, so let’s get into what should be an exciting draft in Green Bay.
Titans have made it clear Levis isn’t the guy going forward. Ward seems to be the new QB1 going forward.
Browns take the unicorn of the draft, if rumours are true, they view him as a WR, however he could easily play some packages opposite Ward at cornerback. Its down to the coaching staff to maximize his potential otherwise the Browns could be looking at a coaching change come 2026.
The Eagles proved you can never have enough playmakers on the defensive line and even though their need for Edge isn’t a priority, this is the best player easily on the board. Don’t overthink it, it also gives them an option of moving on from Thibodeaux if they don’t want to pay him going forward. A name to watch as a trade candidate later in the draft.
Patriots get their choice of tackles and personally fill their biggest need. I toyed with Jeanty here, but I think 38 starts over 3 years and his 6’6 frame are great traits to bet on being a solid pro for them at pick 4.
The Jags play the bluff card and take Jeanty over Graham. Travis Etienne is due to be a free agent next year, and to have control of a guy like Jeanty for basically his physical peak isn’t to be sniffed at. The Jags don’t have a run game that’s respected enough, but with Jeanty, that all changes and will in turn, open up the passing game better.
The Raiders take the relentless motor of Mason Graham. Adding him to this already solid D-line would really help keep them competitive in a tough AFC West, where the best counter to the quarterbacks in this division is pressure.
Nothing sexy here for the Jets, but Membou for me is a stud RT that will really help Fields and Breece Hall in the run game. This sets up the right side with Vera-Tucker to be one of the best in the league.
The Panthers take a leader on defence, with huge versatility and upside. Rumours appear to show Head Coach, Dave Canales, smitten with what Walker could bring to the locker room helping the change the culture in Carolina.
Our first trade of the evening comes with the Colts moving up for a playmaking TE. Warren has Gronk style traits with yards after contact and red zone qualities that make him someone Ballard would love in the building. They trade pick 14, 80 and a 2026 5th, for 9.
The Bears hired Ben Johnson to get this team cooking on offence, and although I like Cole Kmet, he’s not Loveland. What Loveland can do as a route runner is some of the best I’ve scouted. Did I mention they can save over eight million in cap moving on from Kmet next year?
With a team so close to the Super Bowl just a couple of years ago, we now face holes all over their roster. Williams is a stud of the edge, whose use of arm length is a sight to behold. He plays the run even better than the pass and opposite Nick Bosa, you’re going to struggle ever running outside this team.
All the talk is the Cowboys are committed to taking one of their own and links to wide receiver Golden can not be ignored, but with doubts in the secondary and Trevon Diggs coming off an injury, I’m not sure why the other home state ball hawk isn’t talked about more.
This maybe high for some but I have heard rumours of him being CB1 for some teams. He clocked a 4.28 at the combine and a team that vales that sort of speed aswell as the coverage skills he possesses would be Miami. With Ramsey a trade candidate watch out for corner being an early option for Miami.
Everything we are now hearing is Saints aren’t looking at Sanders, so it’s either the biggest bluff or it’s a decision based on where their roster is.. In my scenario, I believe that QB isn’t in play, and with a team that’s always betting on traits, the edge rush from Texas A&M is the pick of the crop.
The Falcons need to prioritise the D-line for me, and Walter Nolen has the twitch and burst to be the second coming of Grady Jarrett.
The Texans have backed themselves into a corner here with all the changes on the O-line. Banks is the final premium tackle on the board, with all the traits you’d want as the heir to Laremy Tunsil. The move up costs Houston pick 25, 79 and a 2026 5th. The $8million college quarterback. That’s what it is rumoured to have cost the Vols to secure a commitment from Nico Iamaleava. He will backup Joe Milton in year 1 and then hope to make the most of Josh Heupel’s productive offensive scheme. The heir to Geno Smith’s throne in this situation.
The Trey Henderson issue is one to follow, and the Bengals believe getting a cover at that position is a wise option if things develop with a possible trade over draft weekend.
The Seahawks address their biggest need at interior lineman. Here they take Zabel, whose floor sounds like pick 18 here at Seattle, but he could go higher.
Schoen and Daboll don’t have anything to lose, so they may as well go out in a blaze, burning picks to keep their jobs. The Giants are the favourites to make the move for the next round of QBs, and if I had to be, Sanders is likely the next guy over Dart off the board. They move up, giving picks 34, 105 and a 2026 2nd for pick 19.
Broncos could go Hampton here also but I absolutely love what Golden can offer and if its a toss up between the two positions, from a roster building stand point Golden makes way more sense. I see a lot of Brandon cooks, who Sean Payton had in New Orleans.
I am struggling to see a way the Steelers don’t go QB now at this point, There need is the biggest in the league and banking on a deal for Rodgers is one worth dodging if he’s non-committal. Dart suits this offence better than any other.
The Bolts take the best player available and a player they know very well. The Chargers were 30th in man coverage in 2024, so the zone ability, quick reads and instincts of Johnson will suit this Jesse Minter defence like a glove.
Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are both free agents come next year, and it only took the draft to be hosted in Green Bay for them to finally take a wide receiver in the first round.
The Chiefs could see Simmons as a projected top 15 pick and I also agree, its just the injury concern that holds that back. I personally think its worth the gamble on such a talent and could solve a 30 million dollar issue for them at LT, while having free agent signing, Jaylon Moore as a swing tackle and backup if Simmons needs more time to get healthy. The trade costs KC pick 31 and 95.
After the trade down the Cardinals grab another round 1 wideout from Ohio State. Having Egbuka and Harrison would be the perfect combo as the pair were deadly for the Buckeyes.
A leader and personality that would make an instant impact on a defence which is gradually becoming one of the best in the league.
The Ravens do what they always do and stack talent that falls in their laps.
The Lions badly missed Aidan Hutchinson last year. Getting a proven rusher who they can move around would be an awesome pick at 28.
Oscar Delp will have to spend another season stuck behind the top tight end in college football. Brock Bowers is a phenom and a great role model for Delp to develop behind. The former receiver looks to have similar athletic gifts to Bowers.
The Bills love D-linemen that are big and physical, and none are bigger and more physical than the monster out of Michigan.
After the trade back, the Vikings take the best player available. With Harrison Smith still defying the ageing process, adding Emmanwori would be one foot into the future. Keep an eye on them as a possible landing spot for Jalen Ramsey as well, who worked with O’Connell previously in LA.
Pearce Jr. gives this team some much-needed pass rush after some tough losses like Graham and Sweat this offseason.
The Browns don’t get a QB yet, but building an offence to drop a later developmental QB in, with Hunter and Hampton. This team now has serious weapons. Hampton drops not on talent, just with how stacked this running back class is, could see day two as a major sweet spot for all these guys.
Lavonte David has been a phenomenal pick for the Bucs, and bringing him back on a one-year deal can only help the transition. Schwesinger had 136 tackles, 4 sacks, 2 Ints and 1 FF in 2024 at UCLA and is the do it all replacement they could target.
What is one way to get your new QB comfortable going into to his pro career? Go get a familiar target. I see this similar to what the Colts did with Andrew Luck and Coby Fleener all those years ago.
If indeed the Jags pass on Mason Graham at pick 5 like I did in round one, look to the guy from Toledo as their plan B.
The Raiders’ secondary is utterly shocking, and that is putting it lightly. I would not be shocked at all if they are a potential fit for a guy like Jaire Alexander, but going corner in the second for me is an odds-on option.
What’s better than addressing their line at 4? Well, addressing it again at 38! Booker is plug-and-play at right guard and will help the Patriots take a huge leap forward along with Will Campbell in 2025.
Commanders take a guy who can set the edge for the run game, where they ranked 30th last year.
Saints take Trevor Pennings’ replacement at RT, who is on borrowed time, especially with his 5th-year option being declined.
Bears take the best player available, with Starks falling in their laps in round 2. I think the position and testing puts Starks in to round 2 even though the character is off the charts.
Besides Garrett Wilson this team have very few weapons in the passing game, so little in fact they only have Wilson and Malachi Corley on the roster beyond this year,. With that in mind, I would be shocked if some form of receiver isn’t one of the picks in round 1 or 2.
The 49ers need to address both D-line and O-line and do that with the first and second round picks. Taking young Conerly to develop as the future LT is a massive win I think at 43.
There is no wideout that I think is better than Judkins here, and having a running game you can depend on will only help Dak and this offence in 2025.
The Colts look to the D-line with the player who could replace DeForest Buckner long term. I absolutely love what Sanders can do as a pass rusher, leading South Carolina in sacks and tackles for loss last year.
The Bills decide to come up and take the big, twitchy corner from East Carolina. There are some age and medical/injury concerns, but what you see on tape does jump out. The cost is pick 109 moving up from 56.
The Cardinals look at the 6’7 280lb DE to play on the D-line, similar to Darius Robinson, who they took last year. Landon Jackson can eventually move up the rotation once Calais Campbell hangs up his boots next year.
With Terron Armstead announcing his retirement, I think the Fins give Patrick Paul the first shot, but taking a guy like Jackson, who is so versatile, could plug in at guard and be a potential tackle of the future.
Sean Payton’s zone running scheme would be a nice fit for Johnson, who is a patient and clever runner. They trade up from 51, giving up pick 191 in return.
Seattle has Josh Jobe and Riq Woollen on the final year of their deals, so I think a corner in round 2 is on the cards. Someone like Benjamin Morrison from Notre Dame is a potential name to watch, but I’ve gone with Mason Taylor here as the new do-it-all TE from LSU.
