- Plays with a real zest for sapping the confidence out of his opponent – not afraid to finish a play
- Quick. Bursts out of his stance and has the lateral movement to protect the corner against speed
- Enough change of direction agility to protect himself from sudden pass rush moves

- Hand placement can be a little early and roll off his opponent – unable to reset his hands
- Inconsistent angles taken out to his pass set
- Just one year of dominant tape in Champaign
- Needs to keep his head up upon contact as a run blocker

“Off the radar twelve months ago, Vederian Lowe saw a remarkable uptick in his performances this year under new head coach and former offensive lineman Brett Bielema. Lowe has almost every box ticked for an NFL offensive tackle - size, length, character, work ethic, and aggression. Whilst his athletic ability isn’t elite, it’s enough to remain competitive in both the run and passing game, and from a traits perspective, he’ll have the scouts attention - particularly in the wake of his strong showing at the recent Shrine Bowl. Lowe has a lot of technique to clean up, meaning he isn’t a day one starter but has some untapped potential. Scheme diverse and with the ceiling of a starting left tackle at the next level, Lowe is exactly the kind of prospect teams like to take chances on with day three selections.”
