“A pocket penetrator with good get-off and early acceleration, Haskell Garrett has the quicks to trouble interior protection as he attacks gaps off the snap. He’s well coached with impressive hand technique, and offensive linemen find it very difficult to find his pads and control his movements. At just 300lbs, Garrett doesn’t quite possess the anchor or drive power of other prospects, but does play stronger than he is given credit for or his body type suggests. The true calling card of the former Buckeye is his ability to infiltrate the backfield from a variety of alignments, with any role that can attack a single gap well within his capabilities. This scheme diversity will enhance his draft stock as a backup or rotational piece that can offer value in any package.”
