2022 NFL DRAFT PROSPECT REPORT

Charleston Rambo

Pro's:

  • Productive on 2 different teams
  • Wins short to intermediate routes consistently
  • Quicker than fast – Not great long speed but is quick out of his breaks
  • Strong and elusive after the catch – consistently made the first tackler miss on underneath catches

Con's:

  • As skinny as can be
  • Average explosiveness and long speed
  • 4.57 40 at the combine at sub-180 pounds
  • Limited route tree

The Verdict:

“Charleston Rambo is a very intriguing prospect. After a semi-breakout in 2019 with Jalen Hurts, he battled through injuries in the 2020 season. He then transferred to Miami where he enjoyed an 80 catch, 1200 yard season, finally fully emerging as a true #1 receiver in the college ranks. As for the NFL, he will need to put on some weight, while maintaining his already average speed. Rambo proved to play stronger than this weight, and has some upside as a day 3 pick.”
