After filling out their receiving corps in free agency, the Jags give their new quarterback the perfect security blanket in Freiermuth, a do-it-all tight end.
34. NEW YORK JETS
Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan
Taking Mekhi Becton last year shows that the Jets prioritise speed and nasty on their o-line. Mayfield fits the bill, although may need to start life at guard as he develops.
35. ATLANTA FALCONS
Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State
I can’t remember the last time Atlanta had a bonafide pass rusher who could consistently find his way into the backfield. Oweh might not have the production at college but his athletic and physical attributes are otherworldly.
36. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Levi Onwuzurike, IDL, Washington
From The Miami Dolphins
The Super Bowl Champions re-signed everyone this offseason, but Ndamukong Suh is a year to year asset. We saw just how much the Bucs defense was elevated when Vita Vea returned from injury. Pairing him with interior pass rusher Onwuzurike would be deadly.
37. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue
Giving Jalen Hurts an elite playmaker would go a long way to seeing if he is the future QB in Philly. Moore is crazy quick, can line up anywhere and needs to be accounted for by a defense on every single snap.
38. CINCINNATI BENGALS
Dillon Radunz, OT, North Dakota State
The Bengals answer the big question of who is going to protect Joe Burrow next season. Radunz can play at either tackle spot, instantly improving this offensive line.
39. CAROLINA PANTHERS
Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida
After losing Curtis Samuel in free agency, the Panthers will look to find new QB Sam Darnold a shiny new toy. Kadarius Toney has explosive game changing ability and is a danger every time he has the ball in his hand.
40. DENVER BRONCOS
Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama
A much improved offensive line sees Ja’Wuan James enter the third season of his four year deal, and bringing in the formidable Leatherwood would give them some flexibility in contract negotiations whilst maintaining Drew Lock’s protection.
41. DETROIT LIONS
Jamin Davis, LB, Kentucky
Dan Campbell is looking to build a tough, competitive roster in Detroit. Jamin Davis is a physical and athletic beast who put up stupid numbers at his pro day and will lead this Lions defense for a decade.
42. NEW YORK GIANTS
Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami
After eschewing the pass rush in the first round to finish building his offensive line, Dave Gettleman brings in the ultra-productive Rousseau, whose versatility and ability to kick inside will be a bonus in Patrick Graham’s defense.
43. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Greg Newsome, CB, Northwestern
The 49ers’ re-signing of Jason Verrett shows how much they value quick, undersized corners who latch onto their receiver and give them no room to breathe. Newsome is an extremely intelligent cornerback who provides great value at this juncture.
44. DALLAS COWBOYS
Asante Samuel, CB, Florida State
I opted against giving The Cowboys Surtain in round 1, but Jerry still gets his big name cornerback. Samuel is a stocky, powerful defensive back but undersized, and team’s opinions will differ on him wildly. For Dallas, he should offer immediate production as a nickel corner.
45. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama
This is a ridiculous slide for the best all round interior defensive lineman in the draft. The Jaguars won’t mind, throwing him into the mix with Taven Bryan, Malcolm Brown and Davon Hamilton. Jacksonville gets four first round grade prospects.
46. CAROLINA PANTHERS
Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
From The New England Patriots
An insanely good athlete for his size, Campbell fits the bill for the prototypical modern day cornerback. He should slot in opposite Donte Jackson and allow Troy Pride to pick up nickel duties in this Panthers defense
47. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Ifeatu Melifonwu, CB, Syracuse
Another long, athletic corner comes off the board. With Casey Hayward gone, The Chargers will plug Melifonwu in opposite Michael Davis. He should thrive as a press man corner in Brandon Staley’s defensive scheme.
48. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri
The Raiders get their linebacker after missing out on JOK in round one. NIck Bolton is an old-school thumper who loves to meet ball carriers in the hole. He should bring some much needed physicality to this defense.
49. ARIZONA CARDINALS
Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson
The signing of James Conner won’t preclude Kliff Kingsbury from adding an elite ball carrier to this explosive offense. Etienne’s athletic profile is an ideal fit.
50. MIAMI DOLPHINS
Wyatt Davis, IOL, Ohio State
After picking up some playmakers on offense, The Dolphins look to shore up the protection for Tua. The signing of Isaiah Wilson didn’t work but showed they are keen to beef up the o-line; I’d argue Davis could replace the departed Ereck Flowers at left guard immediately.
51. WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM
Spencer Brown, OT, Northern Iowa
Having only recently watched Brown’s tape I’m well and truly on the bandwagon – he’s a project but has all the makings of an elite NFL left tackle. Washington lost Trent Williams 12 months ago and are still looking for his replacement.
52. CHICAGO BEARS
Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss
Giving Andy Dalton every weapon possible to succeed sounds like a smart plan. Throw the explosive Elijah Moore in along with Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney, and that’s some serious receiving talent.
53. TENNESSEE TITANS
Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas
The Jadeveon Clowney and Vic Beasley experiments didn’t work, and Tennessee are still looking for pass rush help. They’d be delighted if Ossai was still on the board here, an ascending prospect with a high ceiling who had an incredible pro day.
54. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State
Having beefed up his protection with the selection of Sam Cosmi in round 1, the Colts give Wentz a new pass catcher here. Wallace is the next Steve Smith, quick, tough and extremely physical at the catch point.
55. PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Aaron Robinson, CB, UCF
The Steelers are in the market for cornerback help. Aaron Robinson is your classic sticky slot corner who could allow Cameron Sutton to offer competition to Justin Layne and the ageing Joe Haden on the outside.
56. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Carlos Basham, EDGE, Wake Forest
The Seahawks have just three picks in this draft, so they better use them wisely. Landing Basham here is a good start – desperate for pass rush help, ‘Boogie’’ will come in and give this unit the jolt in the arm it needs.
57. LOS ANGELES RAMS
Baron Browning, LB, Ohio State
The Rams immediately follow Seattle with their own first selection of this year’s draft. The last two seasons have seen them lose Cory Littleton and Samson Ebukam, and are slated to start Micah Kiser and Troy Reader at inside linebacker. In Browning they have themselves an upgrade and a day one starter.
58. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Quincy Roche, EDGE, Miami
The Chiefs turn the second round pick they got from Baltimore as part of the Orlando Brown trade into a pass rusher. Roche doesn’t have the measurables or explosiveness of his fellow Miami edge rushers but is a technician and has a nose for the football.
59. CLEVELAND BROWNS
Dyami Brown, WR, North Carolina
With Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry accounting for almost $30m of cap space in 2022, it may be time to look for alternatives. Dyami Brown is a first round talent squeezed out by the sheer volume of receiving talent in this draft. He can play up the seam or outside the numbers and offers terrific versatility to this Browns offense.
60. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
D'Wayne Eskridge, WR, Western Michigan
Not long played the position after trying to play cornerback first, Eskridge’s sheer speed is a problem. A playmaker with the ball in his hands, I can see Sean Payton salivating at the thought of creating a bespoke playbook for him.
61. BUFFALO BILLS
Ronnie Perkins, EDGE, Oklahoma
The Bills may have been a capable pass rusher away from the Super Bowl last year. Ronnie Perkins is a whirlwind who never stops until he’s in the backfield, and offers a change of pace to the power games of Mario Addison, Jerry Hughes & AJ Epenesa.
62. GREEN BAY PACKERS
Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson
I love this fit. Give Matt La Fleur his very own do-it-all receiver who can line up anywhere along the line of scrimmage or in the backfield. Rodgers will make defenses pay with the ball in space, and give this Packers offense that extra dimension.
63. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC
The Chiefs have the speed element to their receiving corps, but perhaps Amon-Ra St. Brown brings the ability to create separation in tight areas and move the chains. After losing Sammy Watkins, it’s likely they’re on the lookout for another pair of hands.
64. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Jevon Holland, S, Oregon
The Buccaneers just keep sitting there and allowing the talent to fall into their laps. Tampa have a talented but maybe thin safety group, and throwing in Holland who can play both single high or nearer the line of scrimmage makes a lot of sense.

65. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Brady Christensen, OT, BYU
Time to get some protection for your star QB. Christensen had a standout career at BYU and impressed with his testing during the pre-draft process.
66. NEW YORK JETS
Joe Tryon, EDGE, Washington
The perfect blend of size and speed but yet to put it all together, Tryon likely has a better pro career than a college one. The Jets pair him with Carl Lawson to create a new-look pass rushing tandem.
67. HOUSTON TEXANS
Patrick Jones, EDGE, Pittsburgh
Welcome to the NFL Draft Houston! Their roster is so full of holes you could go in any direction, but I love the upside of a player like Jones here, who basically makes camp in an offense’s backfield.
68. ATLANTA FALCONS
Hamsah Nasirildeen, S, Florida State
The Falcons lost both Keanu Neal and Damonte Kazee to the Cowboys this offseason. If Nasirildeen is completely over his injury troubles he has the talent to be a pro bowl safety in the NFL.
69. CINCINNATI BENGALS
Osa Odighizuwa, DL, UCLA
A classic Bengals pick, Odighizuwa played mostly edge at UCLA but projects better on the interior at the next level. The Bengals love their undersized interior pass rushers and will value the versatility Osa brings to the table.
70. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Jabril Cox, LB, LSU
This is a value pick for the Eagles, who are definitely in need of a tone setting linebacker and could have been in the Micah Parsons sweepstakes in round one. Cox is an excellent alternative with the range to cover every blade of grass.
71. DENVER BRONCOS
Davis Mills, QB, Stanford
I’m banking on John Elway sticking his nose in and encouraging the selection of a day two quarterback here, despite the addition of Teddy Bridgewater. Davis Mills probably has the most upside out of the lot, but has limited experience and will need to sit and watch Drew Lock disappoint in 2021.
72. DETROIT LIONS
Trill Williams, CB, Syracuse
One of my favourite corners in this class, Williams was sadly misused as a slot corner for Syracuse last year. The Lions will love his aggression and he projects as an excellent CB2 across from last year’s first round pick Jeff Okudah.
73. CAROLINA PANTHERS
Chazz Surratt, LB, North Carolina
Matt Rhule loves cerebral, intuitive defenders with a nose for the football. Surratt has played just a handful of games at linebacker after switching from QB at Chapel Hill, yet you’d think he was a ten year veteran at the position.
74. WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM
Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky
Joseph going this low is testament to the depth of this cornerback class. After rebuilding their secondary with William Jackson and the returning Kyle Fuller, Joseph can ease his way into the rotation as he develops his raw but exciting skillset.
75. DALLAS COWBOYS
Daviyon Nixon, IDL, Iowa
The Cowboys have cycled through some interior defensive linemen trying to find some consistency at the position. Nixon is raw after playing at the JuCo level for most of his college career, but has the upside to be a long-term starter in Dallas.
76. NEW YORK GIANTS
Cameron McGrone, LB, Michigan
Dave Gettleman just can’t help but take linebackers, and McGrone is an exciting talent – tough and quick, he might not have the ideal measurements but still makes plays all over the field.
77. DETROIT LIONS
Dayo Odeyingbo, EDGE, Vanderbilt
From The Los Angeles Chargers
Dan Campbell will fall in love with this kid, who played every position in the front seven and competed with the best in the SEC despite being on a poor Vandy defense. Plug him in opposite Trey Flowers and lets give this team some much needed pass rush.
78. MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Walker Little, OT, Stanford
The Vikings come into this draft with needs at a number of positions, but with no second round pick would be lucky to find someone with the potential of Walker Little here. Injuries notwithstanding, he could become their future left tackle.
79. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Jay Tufele, IDL, USC
John Gruden has spent most of his second tenure with the Raiders bemoaning the poor performances of his defensive tackles. With Maurice Hurst being let go, they bring in the frantic Jay Tufele to cause carnage on the interior.
80. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Jamar Johnson, S, Indiana
Jamar Johnson might not bring as much physicality as you like to see, but is a ballhawk who gave Justin Fields all kinds of problems in the Big 10. The Raiders could do with some of that playmaking ability on the back end.
81. MIAMI DOLPHINS
Patrick Johnson, EDGE, Tulane
Johnsons go back to back as Miami beef up their pass rush. Cam Sample may be the apple of the draft community’s eye but it’s his Tulane teammate who had the better career, and could be an absolute steal here.
82. WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM
Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M
I’m no fan of Mond and his inconsistent game, but he does flash the arm talent and athleticism required. A mid-third round pick is worth a punt for Washington who look to be rolling into 2021 with Fitzmagic under center.
83. CHICAGO BEARS
D'Ante Smith, OT, East Carolina
The Bears need to beef up their offensive line if they are to give Andy Dalton a chance of success. D’Ante Smith is the prototypical left tackle with plenty of length, and with a bit of technique refinement and more weight could be Chicago’s blindside protector for a long time.
84. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Aaron Banks, IOL, Notre Dame
Aaron Banks is an ascending prospect whose college tape is good but you get the impression he will be a better pro. He is an absolute monster on the interior and reminds me a lot of Brandon Brooks, who he could end up playing alongside in Philly.
85. TENNESSEE TITANS
Tay Gowan, CB, UCF
Mike Vrabel loves competitors, and nobody has had to fight through adversity quite like Tay Gowan has. He brings a feistiness reminiscent of Malcolm Butler, who left for Arizona this offseason.
86. WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM
Ben Cleveland, IOL, Georgia
From The New York Jets
Washington continues to address their offensive line with the addition of behemoth Cleveland to the interior. The former Bulldog is big and physical but needs to adopt more of a finisher mentality if he is to maximise his potential.
87. PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Jackson Carman, OT, Clemson
Pittsburgh gets another piece to help rebuild their offensive line. Jackson Carman is projected to kick inside to guard by many, but he has plenty of experience a t left tackle and his speed and aggressiveness lends itself well to the Steelers mantra.
88. LOS ANGELES RAMS
Richie Grant, S, UCF
What Grant lacks in explosiveness he more than makes up for in mental aptitude and big play ability. Nobody reads the field better than the former Knight, and he’s an ideal piece to help rebuild the Ram’s secondary after free agency saw talent depart.
89. CLEVELAND BROWNS
Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama
Linebacker is the one position Cleveland may feel they could do with reinforcing, and whilst injuries have taken their toll on Dylan Moses he still has the football smarts and physicality to play a role in the NFL.
90. MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Trey Smith, IOL, Tennessee
If it wasn’t for the history of blood clots in his lungs, Trey Smith would be coming off the board much higher than this. His loss is Minnesota’s gain as they add a second piece to that ailing offensive line.
91. CLEVELAND BROWNS
Ar'Darius Washington, S, TCU
Size concerns mean that the ultra-talented Washington slips down the draft, but whether his final role ends up as a safety or a nickel corner The Browns will be able to utilize his skillset in their secondary.
92. PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Trey Sermon, RB, Ohio State
From The Green Bay Packers
Missing out on the top three running backs, Pittsburgh attack the position a little further down the draft. Sermon showed in the college football playoffs he has the ability to be a three down ball carrier at the next level.
93. BUFFALO BILLS
Benjamin St-Juste, CB, Minnesota
With Josh Norman still a free agent, Buffalo will be on the lookout for an alternative press corner to play opposite Tre’Davious White. Canadian born St-Juste has all the length and disruption ability to be a menace on the outside in this Bills defense.
94. BALTIMORE RAVENS
Landon Dickerson, IOL, Alabama
The slide of the competitive Landon Dickerson ends with the Ravens looking for a replacement for the departed Matt Skura. Dickerson is a joy to watch and would be an elite prospect if he could stay on the field, something he has struggled to do at both Alabama and Florida State.
95. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Tutu Atwell, WR, Louisville
The Buccaneers can afford to pick up some luxury items in this draft, and despite Antonio Brown trying to ruin my mock by re-signing with Tampa the day before the draft, they go out and get a guy who can flip the field on any given play. Atwell is tiny but ridiculously quick.
96. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Nico Collins, WR, Michigan
The Patriots’ assault on the receiver position in free agency won’t preclude them from taking a talented pass catcher who could prove to be one of the sleepers in this class. Collins has a bit of Mike Evans about him and would be the ideal redzone threat for whichever quarterback is under center in Foxboro next season.
97. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami
The loss of Hunter Henry to the Patriots makes tight end a position of need for the Chargers. Jordan is a different style of TE but still effective – no other tight end had as many yards after contact as the former Hurricane in college football last year.
98. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse
The Saints continue to add pieces to their secondary. Malcolm Jenkins is at the end of his career and picking up a playmaker of Cisco’s calibre is too hard to turn down. The former Syracuse man can be a liability at times but there’s no denying the talent.
99. DALLAS COWBOYS
Josh Myers, IOL, Ohio State
With Joe Looney a free agent the Cowboys have just Tyler Biadasz at center. Bringing in Myers will offer the second year veteran competition, and also a viable alternative if his injury woes from his time at Wisconsin rears its ugly head once more.
100. TENNESSEE TITANS
James Hudson, OT, Cincinnati
It’s fair to say that last year’s first round selection Isaiah Wilson was a glorious bust. No longer in the league, The Titans need to find a replacement. At this juncture in the draft they’d do worse than to take a shot on a raw but athletic prospect in Hudson.
101. DETROIT LIONS
Kendrick Green, IOL, Illinois
One of my favourite players in this draft class, Green has only played offensive line since he got to Illinois. He’s got a steep learning curve but his power, speed and competitiveness all lend themselves well to the culture that Dan Campbell is trying to create in Detroit.
102. ARIZONA CARDINALS
Quinn Meinerz, IOL, Wisconsin-Whitewater
From The Miami Dolphins
The Cardinals traded for Rodney Hudson and gave him an extension, but will still be looking at the future of the center position with this pick. Meinerz didn’t play last season but wowed at the Senior Bowl, and the small school prospect would arguably benefit from being eased into NFL life. This situation allows him to do just that.
103. LOS ANGELES RAMS
Shakur Brown, CB, Michigan State
A prospect I feel nobody is talking about. Brown really developed his game in his final season in East Lansing. Physical and competitive, he needs to control his emotions a little better, but as a replacement for Troy Hill he could see game time early for the Rams.
104. BALTIMORE RAVENS
Josh Palmer, WR, Tennessee
There’s no doubting the Ravens were after a showpiece receiver in free agency, and whilst Sammy Watkins is no mug it won’t stop them from bolstering the position further here. Josh Palmer looked like a star despite a less than advantageous situation in Tennessee, and I can see him exploding at the next level.
105. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Garrett Wallow, LB, TCU
A former safety, Wallow brings that agility and playmaking ability to the linebacker position. The Saints will value his versatility and pass coverage ability and he could replace Alex Anzalone at weakside linebacker from the get go.
