NFL Betting Line Picks

Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5 - vs San Francisco 49ers

Taking the Steelers at +2.5 against the spreads catches the eye in week 1.

Pittsburgh has won on opening weekend 3 years on the bounce and face a 49ers head heading from the west coast for an early kick off. The 49ers may be fancied as one of the top teams in the NFL but we are unsure what we will see from Brock Purdy at QB and San Francisco losing to the Bears in week 1 of the 2022 season sticks in the mind.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, they continually get it done under head coach Mike Tomlin and are poised for a jump in 2023.

The Steelers enter the 2023 regular season hot off an exceptional preseason which saw them win all three games against the Buccaneers, Bills and Falcons. Those games were of course just preseason games and were not necessarily against the starters, but everything indicuates to a leap for the Steelers in 2023. Kenny Pickett is primed for breakout season and is surrounded by a great supporting cast.

Coming off a Super Bowl loss, you would hope that the Eagles would be champing at the bit to get back on the field.

If the Patriots find a way to cover this game then you expect it to be a low scoring and a grind. The flare that the Eagles possess, this feels like an easy pick. Simply put the Eagles are a better team than the Patriots and this line could stretch out even further as we head through the week.

This might be a dangerous one, but there is potential that we are overlooking the Packers in the NFC and are overestimating the Bears.

We don’t quite know what we will get from Jordan Love, which is why this potentially makes this a dangerous pick.  Love has looked good in preseason and the young skillful pass catchers around him have also impressed.

What makes this the pick is the trenches. It’s difficult to see how the Bears offensive line can match the defensive line of the Packers and you have to think if it wasn’t for Justin Fields that the Packers would be favorites for this game.

The Packers are -0.5 against the spread on NFL Betting sites, which makes this almost a moneyline game and the moneyline has marginally better odds.
