Fantasy Football: Non-PPR Running Back Rankings

When it comes to redraft fantasy football leagues getting your pre-draft rankings correct can be the difference between ending the season a winner or playing the “what if” game. In non-PPR the redraft running back rankings naturally tend to favour the players who carry the workload for their team. However, that does not mean a running back whose primary role is catching the ball cannot have value if the volume is there.

Those rankings make decisions on draft day easier, especially if you decide to use a tiers system. It then becomes easy to scan across all of the positions and determine which position is the one you need to take with each selection before the next drop off in talent occurs. If there are still five players left in your tier of quarterbacks and you have four selections between you and your next pick, you can look somewhere else, knowing that a player of equal talent will still be available at your next pick.

The 2020 non-PPR redraft running back rankings below are based off of a standard league set up of:

  • 6 points per rushing or receiving touchdown
  • 0.1 points per rushing or receiving yard

The PPR running back redraft rankings will follow on Wednesday. For any advice on other custom scoring settings please get in touch @benrolfe15 on Twitter
