DraftKings Week 11 Lineup Recommendations

DraftKings Week 11 fittingly brings us an 11-game slate, with just four teams on a bye this week. Excitingly, we get the Houston  offense back this week, and what a matchup theya re involved in! Their game with Baltimore is the highest total of the week at 51.5. However, there are a further six games with a line of 45 or above, so be prepared for an exciting Week 11 of DraftKings action.

In this article, you will find my DraftKings Week 10 picks on, which are based on matchups, situation, weather and betting lines. The focus of this piece will be looking at upside, and is, therefore, more suited for use in GPP formats. However, the names below can also double up as options in cash games, alongside some safer bets.

Quarterback

Dak Prescott, DAL @ DET | $6,700

Dallas have just spent an entire week hearing about the mistakes they made last week. What has got lost in that is just how good Dak Prescott was. This week he faces a Detroit defense allowing over 22 PPG to quarterbacks, and another good week should be on the cards. Dallas’ offense is going to be out to prove a point this week, and that starts with Prescott first and foremost.

Derek Carr, OAK vs. CIN | $6,100

The possibility that Oakland just decides to win this game on the ground has me a little nervous. The Cincinnati offense is so mediocre that Oakland could have this game sewn up by the third quarter, and that might not be enough time for Carr to rack up enough points. However, the Oakland defense has enough of its own problems that the Cincinnati offense should keep this close enough that Carr needs to stay aggressive and put up a 20-plus point week.

Running Back

Ezekiel Elliott, DAL @ DET | $9,000

Here is the main player on the Dallas offense that has had to spend the whole week hearing about how his usage cost his team. Now Elliott faces one of the worst teams against lead running backs on the slate. I am expecting a huge bounce back performance from Elliott, including potentially over 150 yards and a touchdown or two.

Devin Singletary, BUF @ MIA | $6,000

Singletary did not see the role we expected last week. However, he carried strongly when he did get the chance, averaging over five yards per carry. This week I expect to see him play a bigger role against a Miami defense which has had issues against the run. This season, Miami have allowed over 18 PPG to opposing lead backs, and 29 points to the position as a whole.

QadRee Ollison, ATL @ CAR | $3,000

This is a massive shot in the dark in the rookie running back. Atlanta chose not to have Ollison active through the first eight weeks, but he was activated last week, and clearly they thought enough to keep him around. Brian Hill will be the lead back, but at a bargain basement price there is an opportunity for Ollison to have an impact. This week is a good week for it, with Carolina allowing 29 PPG to opposing backs.

Wide Receiver

Amari Cooper, DAL @ DET | $7,700

Nope  am not going to get away from the Dallas offense at this position either. Cooper has been fantastic this season, posting double-digit returns on all but two of his games this season. We saw last week how strong his connection is with Prescott, as they made some close to impossible plays. Detroit are also allowing over 17 PPG to opposing lead wide receivers, so this should be another good week for Cooper.

CourtlanD Sutton, DEN @ MIN | $6,000

Gamble time again! Sutton is having a super season, but with Brandon Allen as his quarterback there are reasons to have concerns. However, Minnesota are allowing over 17 PPG to opposing lead receivers. Denver are going to need a good showing from Sutton to have any chance of staying close in this one. Expect to see around eight targets and hopefully at least one touchdown this week.

Auden Tate, CIN @ OAK | $4,300

Looking to get cheap? Then Tate is your man. At just over a $1,000 cheaper than team mate Tyler Boyd, Tate has an equally interesting matchup. Oakland’s secondary allows nearly 15 PPG to opposing secondary receivers. That would be a lovely return for this price this week.

Tight end

Jared Cook, NO @ TB | $4,400

Tampa Bay is allowing over 13 PPG to opposng lead tight ends, and now they face a New Orleans offense primed for amassive bounce back. New Orleans were humiliated last week and they will want to fix that. Cook has seen double-digits each of the last three weeks and should be in line for that again this week.

Ross Dwelley, SF vs. ARI | $3,400

An opponent allowing over 15 PPG to opposing lead tight ends, and a tight end below $3,500? Sign me up. If George Kittle is missing this week then this is going to be a slam dunk pick in all of my lineups. Dwelley had seven targets last week, and if that happens again this week, then double-digits will be on the cards.

Defense/Special Teams

Oakland vs. Cincinnati

Yes, I have talked about the flaws in the Oakland defense, but the flaws in the Cincinnati offense are bigger. Oakland’s defense scored 17 fantasy points last week, victimising a struggling Los Angeles offensive line. This week they get another struggling offensive line to try and take advantage of.
