DraftKings Week 10 Lineup Recommendations

The DraftKings Week 10 slate is another reasonably quiet Sunday. Six teams being on a bye has left us with a second week of a 10-game slate, reducing our DFS options somewhat. However, there are still some potentials for big games, with four games having projected totals over 48. However, there is a big of a drop-off after that, with six of the games having a line which sits below 45, and the games between the Lions and Bears, and Bills and Browns, both flirting with the 30s. We also have some weather considerations, with snow having been seen in Green Bay this week already.

In this article, you will find my DraftKings Week 10 picks on, which are based on matchups, situation, weather and betting lines. The focus of this piece will be looking at upside, and is, therefore, more suited for use in GPP formats. However, the names below can also double up as options in cash games, alongside some safer bets.

Quarterback

Jameis Winston, TB vs. ARI | $6,800

There is nothing to not love about Winston this week. He is facing an Arizona defense which allows the most FPPG to quarterbacks of any team on this slate. This game has the potential to be a shootout, and Winston is the man for the job.

Sam Darnold, NYJ vs. NYG | $5,800

The cheap options are not pretty this week, especially with the question marks surrounding the Indianapolis situation, and therefore,  I am giving Darnold one more whirl. This week he faces the fourth worst defense when it comes to fantasy points allowed against quarterbacks. Yes, he failed in a good spot last week, but this week in the battle for New York I am giving him another chance.

Running Back

Mark Ingram, BAL @ CIN | $7,100

I have been riding Ingram all season when the opportunity arises, and this week is no different. Cincinnati allows an averaging of 17.1 FPPG to running backs, and Ingram has seen double-digit carries in every game this season. He is also due a touchdown after not reaching the end zone the last two weeks.

Derrick Henry, TEN vs. KC | $6,400

Henry is another of my guys this season. He may not be flashy, but with six rushing and two receiving touchdowns he is effective. The key to beating Kansas City is grinding out the clock. and Henry is the perfect weapon. KC allow over 20 FPPG to lead running backs and Henry is in a good place to at least match that.

Ronald Jones, TB vs. ARI | $4,300

Jones had his second most carries this season last week in the game in Seattle. This week he gets a matchup with the team ranked sixth in points allowed to lead running backs, which he now surely is. Jones should be a good option at a bargain basement price, which is likely to rise if he sees 15 or more carries this week.

Wide Receiver

mIKE eVANS, tb VS. ari | $7,600

I am riding Tampa Bay hard this week and Evans might be the pick I love the most from the team. In the last three games he has been targeted a whopping 45 times and averages over 30 FPPG in that stretch. Arizona also ranks third worst in points allowed to number one receivers, which Evans has surely cemented himself as now.

zACH pASCAL, ind VS. mia | $5,300

DraftKings Week 10

Pascal between a slam dunk when T.Y. Hilton was ruled out this week. Last week with Hilton absent he saw six targets, catching five for 78 yards and a touchdown. He should be one of the primary targets once again, this time against one of the worst pass defenses in the league in the form of Miami.

aUDEN tATE, cin VS. bal | $4,000

All of the talk this week is about AJ Green. Well, I have my doubts he will even play, and whether he does or does not I like Tate in this matchup. Baltimore are allowing the fourth most FPPG to secondary receivers and the third most to the third choice receiver on opposing teams. Tate should see some nice matchups this week, and could give you a great return at a really cheap price.

Tight end

aUSTIN hOOPER, atl @ no | $5,500

It us always time to fire up Austin Hooper right now for Atlanta. Outside of Julio Jones, Hooper is the most reliable pair of hands that Atlanta has. He has not seen less than five targets this season and has found the end zone in his last three games. Atlanta are likely to be trailing in this one, and Hooper is the perfect remedy for that.

o.j. hOWARD. tb VS. ari | $3,300

Ok, so this is not ideal given that Howard has been largely ignored in Tampa this season. However, Tampa desperately needs to win this week and they have a perfect matchup against the worst team in the league when it comes to defending the tight end position. Arizona are allowing over 17 FPPG to number one tight ends, and with Cameron Brate banged up the path is clear for Howard.

Defense/Special Teams

bUFFALO @ cLEVELAND | $2,900

Right now I am all over picking against Cleveland, especially when the opposing team has a strong defensive line. Buffalo should be able to man handle this Cleveland offense line and force mistakes from Baker Mayfield. It is just a hunch, but I have visions of a repeat of the Week 1 horror show against Tennessee for Cleveland in this matchup.
